Winner of The QuietManDave Prize 2020

I won The QuietManDave Flash Fiction Prize, with ‘Granny Smith, Queene’ - my story about a woman who chains herself to a tree, and gets high on mushrooms to prevent a woodland felling.

The prize was established by the Manchester Writing School at Manchester Metropolitan University, to honour and celebrate the life of writer and critic, Dave Murray.

It was judged by author and poet Tania Hershman, writer and poet Kate Feld, and lecturer and director, Shane Kinghorn. Thank you so much to all involved in this wonderful prize.
